Grace Community Fellowship

About Angie

As a fifth-generation Montanan, Angie Paulsen has deep roots in the rich soil of Helena. She has two decades of experience leading God’s church into musical prayer as a worship leader and holds a master’s degree in Theology and is in the final year of her doctoral degree in Theology. She comes from a family who led by example in serving God’s people. Angie’s late grandmother, Betty Paulsen, served as a music minister in the Presbyterian Church, and Angie’s father, Jim Paulsen, serves Grace Community Fellowship as an elder.

Angie’s journey as a worship leading began in Helena, MT at In One Accord (Morningstar Fellowship), Capital City Christian Church, Fortress of Joy and Grace Community Fellowship. She has also led several city and state-wide interdenominational worship gatherings in Montana. Over the years, Angie served as a Protestant Chapel Worship Leader (Hawaii, Kansas, New York), Protestant Women of the Chapel Titus II chair, Spiritual Life chair and Worship Leader chair. She’s guest led worship across the US on traveling ministry teams. She helped lead as a pastoral musician and coordinate music for Faith Fellowship Church of Watertown, NY and The Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Jacksonville, FL. She has served in various denominational churches as a worship leader including Anglican, Presbyterian, Baptist, Pentecostal, Charismatic, Methodist, Evangelical and non-denominational. She currently serves as a local and national worship leader.

Angie’s service as a worship leader has spanned two decades. Her heart is to see God’s people transformed by the renewing of their minds by participating in the works of the Holy Spirit. It is through the church that Angie has seen God’s hand at work. After twelve moves in the last ten years, one thing is the same, God’s hospitality and place of belonging—His church.

In addition to leading worship, Angie has written music. One of her most well-known accomplishments was co-penning the contemporary “Our Father” in 2017, published by Capital Records.

As well as serving in the church, Angie is Broadwater County’s Clerk and Recorder and Elections Administrator. She has also worked as a paralegal and served on the executive staff for Montana’s Secretary of State.

Family is very important to Angie, and she is a busy mother to her son, Avery James, who is attending Arizona State University as a biochemist, and ten-year-old daughter, Savannah, who loves riding horses and playing basketball.

Angie’s gifting and talents bless Grace Community Fellowship as she serves in the roles of Worship Director, Children’s Ministry Leader, and Volunteer Coordinator.
